Tuesday Post: Receiving lots of Christmas Mail?

One of my greatest joys is receiving Christmas mail.  I send out over 100 Christmas / Holiday cards every year (at least 75% of those are created by me and my family and sent to family and friends).  I have been making my own Christmas cards for the last 32 years, although recently my mailing list has grown so large that we have them professionally printed.  For the past 4 years, we have designed postcards instead of folded cards.  I don’t get to write a long personal message on them (for better or worse), so I often type up a private blog post for family with photos.

Do you send out Christmas / Holiday mail?  Do you send postcards or folded cards?  Photo cards or illustrated?  I’m curious to hear if anyone else is carrying on the tradition of snail mail for the winter holidays!

I love snail mail. When my grandmother passed away I mailed as many cards of hers to her family as I could write. Many folks got 5-6 cards. It was fun.
