Almost a year from concept to product, the Max & Co Post Embroidered Postcard Kits are finally for sale! I rolled them out at the Evergreen Gift Market last weekend and they got a lot of attention. Terra, the organizer of the market, even took the video below. They are perfect for any level of hand-stitcher. Beginners can use the simple patterns included on the instruction sheet. Advanced stitchers can easily use graph paper to make their own!
You can find the kits at The Handmade Showroom in downtown Seattle (a fabulous gift shop featuring handmade items from Pacific Northwest artists) and online in the Max & Co Post etsy shop.
And in case you are wondering, yes you can mail them (I used 2 oz. rate stamps, aka 71ยข). Here are a few that I sent to family and friends. They all arrived safely, although a few got an extra postmark / barcode printed on the front. Personally, I think that adds to the charm. And, as you can see from the above photo, they are frame-able – so it really is an original piece of art you are sending!
