These new postage stamps are being released with weddings in mind. There is an engraved rose Forever stamp and an additional ounce tulip stamp (70¢). Engraved stamps are my favorite style of stamps! Did you know you can get a color first day postmark that looks like a vintage perfume label? This is the “scratch” version :
The stamps will be released on February 14, 2015. You have 50 days (aka until April 15, 2015) to get your postal item postmarked with the First Day Issue postmark for free. According to this Virtual Stamp Club blog post, you mail your envelope (or in my case postcard!) in another envelope addressed to:
The Vintage Rose Stamp (or The Vintage Tulip Stamp)
Riverside Main Post Office
3890 Orange Street
Riverside, CA 92501-3638
Or, if you just want a generic envelope with the stamp and postmark, you can purchase this one from the USPS website.
